Short-term Parking at Dortmund Airport
If you are dropping off or picking up passengers at Dortmund Airport, we recommend using the Kiss & Fly zone. This drop-off and short-term parking area for cars is located directly in front of the terminal entrances and exits on the departures level (Level 1) – ideal for quick access to the check-in counters and security checkpoints (A and B).
Brief stops for loading and unloading are free of charge. Please note: as soon as you leave your vehicle, it is considered a parking process and subject to a fee. In this case, please obtain a parking ticket from the designated machines in the Kiss & Fly zone.

Barrier-free parking
Passengers with a valid disability ID marked “aG”, “Bl”, “H” or “B” can park in P1 (direct terminal access) at the cheaper P6 outdoor rate. To get your discounted exit ticket, present your flight ticket and disability ID at the ID Office/Parking Control Centre (Arrivals level) on your return. Online booking or retroactive refunds are not possible.
Parking for women
At Dortmund Airport’s underground garage P1 (levels 0 to –2), there are designated women’s parking spaces located close to all terminal entrances. These spots are positioned in well-lit areas to enhance safety and convenience for female travelers.
FAQ about parking at Dotmund Airport
P1, P2, and P3 are within walking distance of the terminal. For parking areas P4, P5, and P6, a regular shuttle bus service is available. Transfer with bus line 490 is subject to a fee. Further information is available here.
The cheapest parking space is outdoor parking P6: for 1 week, it only costs €84.
Yes, please note that access to car parks P1, P2, P4, and P5 is only permitted for vehicles with a maximum height of 2 meters. Higher vehicles shall use outdoor parking P3 or P6.
Unfortunately, there is currently no option to charge your electric car at Dortmund Airport. However, the airport is working on making this possible in the future.
