Long-term Parking at Hamburg Airport
For holidaymakers and business travellers, Hamburg Airport offers special car parks designed for longer stays, ensuring convenient access to the terminals. The P1 car park allows you to dive straight into holiday mode just a short walk from your parking spot, as it is located only a few meters from the terminals. For those who prefer to park away from the hustle and bustle, the P8-9 car park is an ideal choice; it is 1,500 meters from the terminals. Please note that online booking is required for the P8-9 car park, and currently, no shuttle service is available.

Short-term Parking: Our recommendations for pick-up and drop-off
For those picking up passengers at Hamburg Airport, the P2 and P4 car parks are ideally located directly opposite Terminals 1 and 2, making it quick and easy to reach the arrival areas. Those dropping off passengers are directed to the new “Kiss & Fly” short-stay zone, designed for quick farewells with a free parking duration of 10 minutes. For longer goodbyes, numerous parking options are available, with the first 15 minutes costing €3. For those accompanying passengers into the terminal, the P2 to P4 car parks are also suitable.
Other parking options
Barrier-free parking
At the airport, specially marked parking spaces and car parks are available close to the terminals for guests with mobility impairments. These reserved spots can be found both directly at the entrances and exits as well as next to the lifts within the car parks, all of which are equipped with wheelchair-accessible lifts. For stays longer than 24 hours, you can have your parking ticket discounted to the affordable Holiday Base rate (currently in the P8/P9 parking area) to park in front of the terminals at the cheapest rate. For a discount, please contact the parking control centre on the departure level in Terminal 2. The presentation of your blue parking pass is required for this.
E-Parking
For travellers with electric vehicles, the airport offers about 40 parking spaces in Car Park P4, Level 0, Parking Area G and W, which are equipped with charging stations. Access to the charging stations is straightforward without prior registration and without additional costs for charging. You can use a Type 2 charging cable or alternatively a Schuko socket with a charging capacity of up to 3.7 kW. In addition to these fixed charging spots, the airport also has public charging points in front of Car Park P2/P4 for spontaneous visits. During the charging process of up to 60 minutes, a parking disc should be placed behind the windscreen.
