Booking a parking space: how to park cheaply at Düsseldorf Airport

Düsseldorf Airport: Short-term parking
The car parks in the Terminal tariff zone, P1, P2, P3, P7, and P8, are available for short-term parking at Düsseldorf Airport. For pick-ups, the short-term parking space P12 is ideal. You can park your vehicle right in front of Arrival C of Düsseldorf Airport. For drop-offs, the short-term parking space P11, located very close to Departure C, is recommended. Both P11 and P12 charge parking fees of €2.50 per 15 minutes. For slightly longer stays, the pick-up and drop-off ticket in the car park P3 is available at a special rate of €5 for 90 minutes. If you need to stop at the airport for a short time only, you can use the Kiss & Fly zone: you can stop twice a day for 7 minutes for free, with a charge of €5 for every additional 5 minutes.
Other parking options
Barrier-free parking
Passengers with a blue European Parking Card issued by the licensing authority can park free of charge in the “Terminal” and “Long‑term” areas at Düsseldorf Airport, except in P1, P11 and P12. The Kiss & Fly zone allows up to three hours of free stopping time. A disability ID alone is not sufficient; only holders of the blue Parking Card are eligible, not accompanying persons or drop‑offs/pick‑ups. When exiting, please use the intercom at the barrier so staff can note your parking card number and license plate.
E-Parking
For parking customers with electric vehicles, electric charging stations are available in car parks P3, P5, P7, and P8, operated by Stadtwerke Düsseldorf. For the charging process, you need a charging card from Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG or a roaming partner from ladenetz.de. Contractless charging is possible via a smartphone app through PayPal and/or credit card. For the charging stations in car park P3, you need your own charging cable.
